What is the purpose of the Think phase?
Before diving headfirst into design or development, there are often questions we haven’t asked yet. Does this project truly address a need? Does the current version work, or does it hide weaknesses we haven’t identified yet? Who are your users, and what do they really expect?
During the Think phase, we take the time to consider the structure of the project. In practice, this might take the form of a workshop to lay the groundwork for your project, an audit to identify issues with an existing website or application, or guidance to help you structure your project specifications before handing them over to a team whether ours or another’s.
The goal is simple: to move into the Design and Dev phases with a clear direction.

Not always : if your project is already well-defined and you know exactly where you’re going, we can move straight to the design phase. But if you’re still unsure about which direction to take or if you’re not sure whether your idea addresses a real need, this is the perfect time to discuss it with us.
No. Some audits or workshops are simply meant to help you clarify your project, whether you then entrust it to our team or to someone else. We’d rather provide you with honest guidance than push you toward a solution that isn’t right for you.
It depends on the complexity of your project and what you’re looking to clarify. We’ll discuss this together beforehand to give you a realistic framework.
We sometimes use AI on a regular basis to help us break through a deadlock. However, the analysis and recommendations are always developed and validated by our team. As people who are passionate about our respective fields (and even though AI is a tool that can make our lives much easier), we have chosen to use it judiciously for both ethical and environmental reasons.
