We would love to give you a simple answer to your Google search ‘Swiss website price 2026’, but unfortunately the price of a website developed in Switzerland depends on many factors. We know this is not what you wanted to hear, but it’s true.

If we ask you, ‘How much does a house cost?’, you will reply, ‘It depends: is it a villa, a single-storey house, a two-storey house, a house with a basement…?’
For a website, it’s pretty much the same thing; the price can depend on lots of different factors:
- the technology used (and if a CMS is used, whether it is headless, etc.)
- the complexity of the site
- the design
- the experience of the technical teams
- the desired level of customisation
- deadlines
- if there is a need for development or if you wish to customise a purchased theme
- and above all: the expected features
- and in addition: additional extras (content publication, purchase of fonts or images, etc.)

Price ranges for a website in Switzerland in 2026
The price of a website cannot be fixed, as each project is different. At O’Matic, we do not like to give estimates before listening to you.
Nevertheless, to give you an idea (including design and development):
- A customised one-page website or landing page can cost between CHF 1,000 and CHF 2,500.
- For a website using WordPress CMS, for example, with few page templates, expect to pay between CHF 3,500 and CHF 15,000 depending on complexity, design and features.
- For a bespoke website with animations and lots of customised features, with tight deadlines… Prices can easily exceed CHF 10,000.
- For an e-commerce site or web application (PWA), prices start at around CHF 15,000.

Why is it expensive to create a website in Switzerland?
Although the price depends on various factors, including the type of website, it also depends on the service provider chosen and the region. The rates charged by web agencies in Switzerland are often higher than those of our European neighbours, due to the cost of living and the level of quality required.
