In October 2023, when O’Matic was created, I set myself the challenge of participating in Motiontober<\/a>, which is a motion design challenge.<\/p>\n\n

First of all, what is Motiontober?<\/h2>\n\n

Motiontober is a challenge for animators and motion designers created by the Qimono<\/a> agency. The principle is simple: a list is provided and, similar to Inktober (another challenge during the month of October, but this time for illustration), participants must post their creation of the day on social media. <\/p>\n\n

What were the constraints?<\/h2>\n\n

The constraints were simple: animate one word per day according to the list that had been sent out at the end of July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also set myself another constraint: to stick to the Halloween theme (not very original for the month of October).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

How did the organisation go?<\/h2>\n\n

It was quite tedious, to be honest, but that’s why it’s a challenge!<\/p>\n\n

Unfortunately, I got started a little late… I first wanted to gather most of my ideas and put them into a storyboard, which took me a while during September. I didn’t start the animation until 24 September, to be precise… So I was working under pressure very quickly! <\/p>\n\n

Despite everything, I was able to enjoy myself every day hosting the show!<\/p>\n\n
