We have created this charter on the use of AI to define its framework: it helps us to break deadlocks and save time on repetitive tasks, but never to replace our creativity, expertise or responsibility. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have chosen to use it wisely, ethically and sparingly, for both moral and ecological reasons.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading mb-3\" id=\"principes-fondamentaux-de-notre-charte-sur-lutilisation-de-l-ia\">Fundamental principles of our charter on the use of AI<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading mb-3\" id=\"1-lhumain-au-centre\">1. People at the centre<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Tout ce qui sort de chez O&#8217;Matic a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u, valid\u00e9 et optimis\u00e9 par nos soins. L&#8217;IA optimise notre travail sans remplacer notre expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2192 95% of the content, design and code are produced by our teams.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading mb-3\" id=\"2-usage-raisonne\">2. Reasonable usage<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>AI is never used by default. It is only used when necessary and always under human control. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Examples: generating wireframe ideas, writing micro-copies, code optimisation, researching technical solutions, etc.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading mb-3\" id=\"3-transparence-et-responsabilite\">3. Transparency and accountability<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We take full responsibility for deliverables. If AI has been used, we keep a record of all discussions and inform our clients of its use. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading mb-3\" id=\"4-ethique-et-ecologie\">4. Ethics and ecology<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We limit the use of AI for ethical reasons and to reduce our digital footprint. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We limit the data we provide to AI (no confidential data) and choose sovereign AI and\/or AI hosted in Europe (e.g. Euria, Mistral).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading mb-3\" id=\"5-respect-de-la-propriete-intellectuelle\">5. Respect for intellectual property<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>No AI-generated code, design, or content is integrated without verification of licence, originality, and legal compliance.<br\/>We do not use any tools that are not transparent about the origin of training data.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading mb-3\" id=\"regles-dusage\">Rules of use<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group mb-3\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"design\">Design<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>AI can help generate colour palettes, basic mock-ups, or visual inspiration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Never a final graphic charter, typography or visual identity generated solely by AI.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All elements are reviewed, adapted and validated manually.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group mb-3\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"developpement\">Development<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>AI can suggest code, structures, or technical solutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All generated code is reviewed, tested, and optimised by a developer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No AI code is deployed in production without human validation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group mb-3\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ux\">UX<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>AI can help formulate user stories, user journeys, usability tests, or summarise accessibility reports.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No strategic decision or user experience design is based solely on AI.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"generation-et-correction-de-texte\">Text generation and correction<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>AI can help generate text content or article outlines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All AI-generated text content is proofread and corrected by a human.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We sometimes use AI to correct our texts or rephrase sentences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"outils-utilises\">Tools used<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We sometimes use various artificial intelligence tools: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"generation-de-contenu-texte-reformulation\">Text content generation, rewriting<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.infomaniak.com\/fr\/euria\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Euria<\/a>, Infomaniak&#8217;s AI: ethical, eco-friendly and data-respectful<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mistral.ai\/fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mistral<\/a>: Open-source and accessible AI<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"generation-dimage\">Image generation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Unless otherwise requested, we refuse to use AI to generate images.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We use AI for image generation as part of completion (in Adobe Photoshop).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"autres-outils\">Other tools<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We may use other tools from time to time. We always ensure that data is protected and try as far as possible to use sovereign, <a href=\"https:\/\/o-matic.ch\/en\/blog\/consulting\/10-swiss-or-european-alternatives-to-american-digital-technology\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"94\">Swiss or European tools<\/a>. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading mb-3\" id=\"restrictions\">Restrictions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The use of AI within O&#8217;Matic is subject to certain restrictions. It is strongly advised not to: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Using AI to generate final content without human proofreading.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Using AI to replace human work (e.g. writing a complete article, designing a complete interface).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Using tools that do not comply with the GDPR or Swiss legislation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Using AI to copy, imitate, or plagiarise existing work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use AI by providing it with confidential documents from the client.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading mb-3\" id=\"suivi-formation-et-evolution\">Monitoring, training and development<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>O&#8217;Matic is committed to developing AI skills and anticipating and supporting changes in practices and professions.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading mb-3\" id=\"engagement-client\">Customer commitment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We inform our clients that AI can be used to support, but never replace, our expertise.<br\/>Upon request, we provide a detailed overview of the use of AI in their project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unless otherwise agreed in writing or verbally, we do not use AI for content creation in our projects.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our philosophy At O&#8217;Matic, we design, develop and create unique, tailor-made digital experiences such as websites, applications and interfaces with passion, rigour and high standards, as well as everything else that may be related to them in any way (graphic design, animations, etc.).
